Effectively cuts materials that standard bi-metal hole saws will not cut
Carbide teeth provide better chip formation and faster cutting rates than carbide grit edge or high-speed steel
Greater wear resistance and higher heat resistance than bi-metal hole saws
Patented SPEED SLOT® staircase design has multiple leverage points for easy plug ejection
High performance carbides are welded to the cutting edge to increase durability and prevent tooth loss
Aggressive tooth design drills through wood, stainless steel, cast iron, fiber cement and plaster
Tall body easily drills through 2X dimensional lumber for rough-in work
Three teeth per inch
Cutting Recommendations
Plumbing: Nail-embedded wood, fiberglass, cast iron
Metalworking: Stainless steel sheet, aluminum
Composites: Computer flooring, Formica, plywood, plastic, particleboard and Corian®
NOTE: Carbide-Tipped Hole Saws use standard arbors. We recommend the use of Carbide-Tipped Pilot Drills when using a Carbide-Tipped Hole Saw in hard abrasive materials.
CAUTION: Any cutting tool may break or shatter under improper use. Government regulations require use of safety glasses and other appropriate safety equipment at all times in the vicinity of use.
