Meet Our Executive Team
Cesar Lanuza
Cesar Lanuza is President and CEO of Lawson Products. He joined the company in 2022, bringing 30 years of industrial and commercial distribution expertise at an international level. Before joining Lawson Products, Mr. Lanuza was CEO and Director at Jon-Don, LLC, where he grew the company through new markets and capabilities, and multiple acquisitions. Prior to that position, he served as President, North America and Asia Pacific at Optimas OE Solutions, LLC.
Previously, Mr. Lanuza served as Vice President/General Manager at W.W. Grainger, Inc., where he also held senior-level roles in North America, Mexico and Latin America. He also held leadership positions with business operations and sourcing responsibilities at GE Healthcare, United Technologies and Cerveceria Americana.
Mr. Lanuza has a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Universidad Internacional de las Americas in San Jose, Costa Rica and an MBA from INCAE Business School in Costa Rica.
Ron Knutson
Ron Knutson is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Lawson Products. He joined Lawson Products in 2009, bringing extensive financial expertise across public and private companies within the distribution, transportation and retail sectors.
Mr. Knutson directs all financial operations for Lawson Products, including internal and external Securities and Exchange Commission reporting, relationships with the banking and financial analyst communities, working directly with the Board on audit, finance and compensation related matters and overseeing the Company’s enterprise risk management process. During his tenure at Lawson, Mr. Knutson has driven many of the key strategic initiatives, including network optimization, ERP implementation and sales channel transformation to rebuild the financial strength of the Company. Earlier roles include Senior Vice President and CFO of Frozen Foods Express Industries, Vice President of Finance at Ace Hardware Corporation, CFO and Treasurer at Mascal Electric and Senior Manager at KPMG.
Mr. Knutson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Illinois State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Rick Pufpaf
Rick Pufpaf is the Senior Vice President, Corporate Secretary, General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer. Rick works closely with the executive leadership team and the Board of Directors, ensuring compliance with SEC guidelines, annual meeting requirements, board committee, and independent director requirements. He provides practical day-to-day advice and strategic legal guidance to business leaders on a variety of matters. Rick holds deep expertise in the areas of corporate governance, compliance, employment matters, and compensation and benefits.
Mr. Pufpaf joined Lawson in 2011, and throughout the past 10 years, Rick has served as our Assistant General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, Assistant Corporate Secretary and Vice President, Compensation & Benefits.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Loyola University Chicago and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law.
Kris Eyunni
Kris Eyunni is Senior Vice President, Supply Chain at Lawson Products. He joined the company in 2022, bringing 30 years of enterprise supply chain and operations expertise. His strategic focus is ensuring Lawson continues to meet and exceed customer expectations. Working closely with sales and business leadership, Mr. Eyunni confirms alignment of the company’s front, back and middle office processes and that team members have the tools they need for success.
Prior to joining Lawson Products, Mr. Eyunni was Vice President, Global Operations and Transportation at WESCO Distribution. Previously he directed operations systems strategy for United Airlines and held significant leadership positions at Sears Holding Corporation, including Vice President, Supply Chain - Fulfillment & Transportation, Vice President, Supply Chain - Home Delivery & Distribution Operations, and Divisional Vice President, Logistics Strategy.
Mr. Eyunni holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Badruka College of Business in India and an MBA from The University of La Verne in California.
Greg Wright
Greg Wright is Lawson’s Chief Commercial Officer. A proven leader with more than 20-years’ experience in sale, he joined the company in 2023 in a newly created position leading sales, e-commerce, marketing and customer support. In this vital role, Mr. Wright provides strategic direction to drive and sustain organic commercial growth through customer focus and operational excellence.
Prior to joining Lawson, Mr. Wright was Chief Commercial Officer/Chief Marketing Officer at Industrial Physics, a leading provider of test and measurement instrumentation. Previously, he served as President at OMEGA Engineering, as Executive Vice President at Valin Corporation and in account management roles at Grainger and Arrow Electronics.
Mr. Wright holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University, an MBA from Brigham Young University and a master of Industrial Distribution degree from Texas A & M University.
